A Finnish special-forces veteran who joined Abstergo for his daughter's medical care and rose to Master Templar on pure competence, Berg is the modern Order's sharp end: leader of Sigma Team, hunter of what remains of the Brotherhood, and the man delivering the join-or-die ultimatum at the end of the Rogue sessions. He studies Shay Cormac's defection the way Assassins study Altaïr's Codex — as founding scripture. Across the Layla era he is the recurring pursuer, always one safehouse behind, increasingly aware that his Order's leadership serves stranger gods than order.
