Warren Vidic

The scientist who turned genetic memory from Isu curiosity into Abstergo's core industry, Vidic ran the Animus program with a bureaucrat's cruelty: subjects were consumables, and Sixteens preceded Seventeens. He mined Desmond for Altaïr's map of the Pieces of Eden, lost him to Lucy's extraction, and spent the next year hunting the cell across Italy with corporate patience. Vidic matters less as a duelist than as a demonstration: the modern Order doesn't need swords when it has HR, and the Animus — his machine — is the whole battlefield of the twenty-first-century war.
