01The Voynich errand
Achilles' Brotherhood chases Precursor sites across the Atlantic world. Shay, the order's best sailor, draws the Lisbon run.
02Lisbon, 1755
The artifact is a pillar, not a prize. Shay touches it and a city dies around him — the series' one atrocity committed by protagonist and Creed together.
03The shrug
Achilles calls it coincidence and reaches for the next map. Shay steals the manuscript, takes a musket ball off the cliffs, and stops being an Assassin.
04Raised by the enemy
Monro's patience and Haytham's clarity give Shay what Masyaf's heirs wouldn't: an Order that takes responsibility seriously. He takes their oath.
08The propaganda department
Abstergo Entertainment mines it all for a simple product: proof the Assassins were the villains. The uncomfortable part is how much of it is true.
