Story beats · 8
01Return to Masyaf
The series' first fortress, revisited as an old man's question: what was it all for? The answer is locked behind five Ottoman keys.
02The city between empires
Constantinople: Yusuf's Brotherhood, a succession crisis, and Byzantine Templars who never accepted 1453. Ezio hunts keys through all of it.
03Altaïr, after
Each key replays the founder's later life — triumph, betrayal by Abbas, exile, and a long widowhood spent turning grief into doctrine.
04Sofia
A bookseller who has never heard of the Creed becomes the reason Ezio starts imagining a life after it.
05Animus Island
Desmond, comatose, negotiates his own mind with Subject 16's ghost: reach the end of both ancestors' stories or dissolve into the machine.
