Story beats · 8

  1. 01The gallows in the piazza

Giovanni Auditore and two of his sons hang on falsified charges while Ezio watches. The judge was bought; the documents that would have saved them, ignored.

  2. 02The robes fit

Ezio executes Uberto Alberti in front of Florence's elite and flees to Monteriggioni, where uncle Mario begins the education his father never finished.

  3. 03The Pazzi and the Barbarigo

Two conspiracies, two cities: Ezio works through Florence's Pazzi and Venice's Barbarigo, each dying man naming the next node in the web.

  4. 04Leonardo and the codex

Da Vinci rebuilds Altaïr's hidden blade and decodes his codex page by page — the old master's doubts becoming the new Brotherhood's doctrine.

  5. 06A new Assassin, an old ritual

In Venice, Ezio is formally inducted — the leap of faith taken in front of the Brotherhood he has been rebuilding without knowing it.
