Rodrigo Borgia
The Spaniard — a Grand Master with a papal ambition
The Order
Grand Master of the Italian Templars and the spider at the center of every web Ezio burned down, Rodrigo ordered the Auditore executions because Giovanni had found the Order's great project: the Vault beneath the Vatican, and the Prophet who could open it. He spent the Renaissance acquiring the keys — the Apple, the Papal Staff, and finally the papacy itself as Alexander VI, the Church converted into an instrument in one conclave. He is the saga's model Templar precisely because his faith was sincere: he genuinely believed God's power waited in that Vault, and that he was its rightful heir.
